In addition to the social opportunities it offers, the Arlington Garden Club is active in the community. Our volunteers, which currently total approximately 100 members, work hard throughout the year on fundraising events to support local scholarships and local beautification projects, as well as contributions to community organizations selected by the board.

The Arlington Garden Club is excited to announce it is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarships. Each year, our club presents one or more scholarships, of up to $2,500, to area high school graduating seniors who are interested in a degree in one of the following: horticulture, agriculture, biology, forestry, animal husbandry, or environmental science.
Congratulations to our 2024 Scholarship Winners!
We are proud to announce the following winners, who each received a $2,000 scholarship. Photo: Left to right: Grant Cramer, Arlington High School; Addison Shepherd, Arlington High School; LaVerne Gadbois, AGC Scholarship Chair, who announced the recipients; Rebecca Ayala, Stanwood High School.
The Mayor's Garden, located in front of Arlington City Hall on Olympic Avenue, is planted and maintained by AGC members. Over the years the club has also planted a variety of items along the Centennial Trail.
Throughout the summer our garden club members' share the bounty of their gardens and donate extra blooms. Flowers are delivered to a local senior assisted living facility for residents to create bouquets to decorate their apartments.
