Thank you! This year's Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, was another big success!
Special thanks to the community for supporting us, the attendees who shopped, and, of course, our wonderful AGC volunteers.
Our club members brought well-tended plants from their own gardens, as well as raising others from seed and planting gorgeous pots. In addition, AGC work parties created unique yard-art items, including concrete mushrooms, cedar planters and trellis structures, pine cone art, and those adorable wood bears! Members even sold tasty homemade cookies, pies, and more!
AGC volunteers were also available to answer gardening questions, which several attendees said they really appreciated!
Held annually, the Arlington Garden Club event includes annuals, perennials, garden vegetables, herbs, shrubs and more! The local plant sale is one of the oldest in Western Washington and is renown for its variety and healthy plants.
We are proud of the fact that proceeds support our youth scholarship program, and FFA and other horticulture and environmental organizations.
Special thanks to the Arlington Co-op for their generous support of this year's plant sale. They provided us with potting soil at cost.
The Arlington Garden Club Plant Sale is typically held on the second Saturday in the plaza located in front of City Hall. Our proceeds go toward high school scholarships and support other community programs.
