Our Arlington Garden Club Plant Sale on May 9 was another success. We thank our wonderful AGC volunteers for all of their hard work. It is truly a team effort!
We also thank everyone who attended and the community and businesses who support us.
Held annually, the popular AGC plant sale includes annuals, perennials, garden vegetables, herbs, shrubs and more. This local plant sale is one of the oldest in Western Washington and is renown for its variety and healthy plants.
In addition, the sale features unique garden art made by our own members, as well as a bake sale with delicious homemade goodies.
Special acknowledgements:
Proceeds benefit our scholarship fund and other programs supported by the Arlington Garden Club.
The Arlington Garden Club's annual Plant Sale, held the day before Mother's Day, is always a popular event. It is one of the oldest in Western Washington and is renown for its variety and healthy plants. Some varieties are difficult to find at local nurseries!
Our club members bring well-tended plants from their own gardens, as well as raising others from seed. AGC volunteers are available to answer gardening questions, which attendees said they really appreciated!
In addition, AGC work parties create unique yard-art items, including concrete mushrooms, cedar planters and trellis structures, pine cone art, and more!
The AGC bake sale with its delicious homemade goodies is also popular. So make sure to check it out as well!
More details: The AGC Plant Sale is held the same day as the opening of the downtown Arlington Farmer's Market. Browse among locally grown food items, as well as crafts from local businesses. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Supports local scholarships. We are proud of the fact that proceeds support our youth scholarship program, and FFA and other horticulture and environmental organizations. To read more about our community service, click here.
