In addition to the social opportunities it offers, the Arlington Garden Club is active in the local communities where our members live. Our volunteers, which currently total more than 100 members, work hard throughout the year on fundraising events to support local programs. During the last 10 years (as of year-end 2025), for example, we have provided:

For the past five years, AGC has participated in Potting Day held in May at Sunnyside Nursery. Our members volunteer to plant (for free) pots for customers who purchase their plants on the day the nursery offers its annual "container class." Read more.

AGC members are also busy supporting local food bank in a variety of way - collecting food items from local businesses and even helping to grow crops at a local farm. Read more.

The Mayor's Garden, located in front of Arlington City Hall on Olympic Avenue, is planted and maintained by AGC members.
Over the years the club has supported other civic beautification projects, including plantings along the Centennial Trail and other areas.

The Arlington Garden Club provides scholarships, up to $2,500 each, to students graduating from local high schools.
