Last year, the Arlington Garden Club was excited to announce its 2024 scholarship recipients.
Each year, our club presents one or more scholarships, of up to $2,500, to area high school students.

As part of its commitment to support local communities, the Arlington Garden Club offers scholarships, of up to $2,500 each, to high school students who are interested in pursuing a degree in one of the following: Horticulture, agriculture, biology, forestry, animal husbandry, or environmental science.
AGC Website. Once the application process opens, students interested in applying will be able to find the Arlington Garden Club Scholarship Application posted on the AGC website. The AGC Scholarship Announcement outlines criteria and will also be posted. Applicants should read both documents for complete details.
Important note: Applications must be returned (completed and signed) with a copy of school transcript(s) and received by the deadline noted on the application.
General timeline of process:
Fall. Applications open in the fall of the previous year. The coming Spring deadline is posted on the application form and the AGC Website.
Mid to late April. The deadline for the scholarship applications closes during this time. Then, a panel reviews the applications and makes a recommendation for the finalists to the AGC Board for its approval.
June. Winners are announced at our June luncheon. Information is posted on the AGC website and via the AGC Facebook Group site, and other media.
